Second Break at about 6 feet. Big diagonal wave and ledges. Shallow! Lots of rebar from the broken out dam. Go with someone who knows the route. Thanks to Ingrid Shannon for photo. Second Break is Class IV at non-flood levels. Here you must decide if you will be going river right to Southside rapids or river left to Pipeline rapids. At levels above 7 feet most paddlers will want to continue on to Southside rapids. Pipeline rapids become class VI at higher levels when the current pushes strong under the pipe.
